We proudly present the Ford GT Sound Library, a comprehensive audio library of high-quality sound effects capturing the heart-pumping, adrenaline-fuelled sounds of this legendary supercar. From the throaty roar of the engine to the crisp pops of the exhaust, our sound library brings you closer than ever to the iconic Ford GT. The 3.5 Litre V6 Twin Turbo Ford GT was recorded with fourteen incredible microphones positioned in and around the car. This included mics fastened inside the engine bay, above the exhausts and positioned inside the air intake. Everything was captured – from the exhaust pops of a launch control drive off to the tyre screeches of a burnout.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.

To help you quickly find the sounds you are looking for, we have included extensive metadata in every file. Our file naming and metadata is created according to current UCS standards and can be read by audio management tools such as Soundminer & Basehead.
