This drift-built Nissan 200 SX powered by the legendary BMW M60B40 combines lightweight chassis dynamics with classic V8 torque. The 4L naturally aspirated V8 delivers instant power that makes it a popular engine swap for drifting.
To capture its full character, high-quality microphones were placed in the engine bay, near the intake, and along the exhaust system to record every start-up, rev, limiter hit and drift in detail. External microphones were placed at varying distances along the track to capture every manoeuvre, including a lot of sideways action. These recordings provide an authentic, high-quality BMW M60B40–powered Nissan 200 SX sound experience for film, games and professional sound design.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications. Surround sound files are not available in the Short & Sweet library.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
