The Chevrolet Camaro SS embodies the raw spirit of American V8 performance. Its naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 delivers thunderous power, instant throttle response, and a deep, aggressive exhaust note that defines modern muscle. To capture that unmistakable sound, we used high-quality microphones positioned throughout the car. We mounted them in the engine bay, near the exhaust outlets, and within the intake to record every roar, bark, crackle, and high-RPM pull with precision. In addition, we placed external trackside microphones to capture the Camaro SS as it fires up, revs, and charges past at speed. Every aspect of the Camaro SS’s character was recorded, from the deep idle rumble to the ferocious scream under full throttle. These recordings provide creators with an authentic, high-fidelity Camaro SS sound.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
