We are delighted to introduce the Jaguar XJ220 sound library! This exceptional sound library features high-quality recordings that authentically capture every sound of this rare masterpiece of British engineering.
To achieve this, we strategically fastened eight onboard microphones inside the engine bay and around the exhaust, allowing us to expertly record every turbo flutter and exhaust growl of this 3.5L V6 engine. In order to provide interior perspectives, we placed an Ambeo microphone inside the cabin.
Additionally, we positioned external microphones at different perspectives along the track. This enabled us to capture a wide variety of drive-ins, offs, and pass-bys, enriching the overall sound experience.
Four channel ambisonic files were recorded from the interior and trackside perspectives, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Our Jaguar XJ220 Sound Library is special, as we have a timecode synced every recorder for simple DAW session reconstruction. This makes it incredibly easy to align every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made time-synchronised Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz, 24-bit the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.

To help you quickly find the sounds you are looking for, we have included extensive metadata in every file. Our file naming and metadata are created according to UCS standards and can be read by audio management and librarian tools such as Soundminer & Basehead.
