This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a true classic, with the thunderous growl of a 5.7L small-block V8 under its long bonnet. From a lazy rumble to a high-rev scream, it rasps, roars and breathes hard, with plenty of pops and burbles. It fires up, idles, revs hard and charges past, and drive-offs, drive-ins and braking are included too. We recorded it in the engine bay, around the exhaust, inside the intake and at the trackside, so this Chevrolet Corvette Stingray sound library preserves every detail of an American legend.
We recorded the cabin with an ambisonic microphone, then delivered it as stereo, 5.1 surround and four-channel A Format, perfect for surround and VR work. We edit out the speech between driver and crew, so you get clean cabin sound. Surround files aren’t available in the Short & Sweet library.
