This 2010 Aston Martin Rapide is a four-door grand tourer with a naturally aspirated 5.9L V12 and a Quicksilver exhaust to let it sing. That big engine howls and burbles, with a smooth whine as it pulls through the gears and a deep growl as it settles back to idle. Ignition, idles, the horn and show-off revs sit alongside steady holds from 1,000 to 6,000 RPM, fast onboard driving, drive-offs, drive-ins and a long run of slow, medium and fast pass-bys. Recorded onboard in the engine bay, at the exhaust and in the cabin as well as trackside, this Aston Martin Rapide sound library is British V12 grand touring at its most refined.
We recorded surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for 5.1 immersive applications. Surround sound files are not available in the Short & Sweet library.
