The 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray embodies the golden age of American muscle. Its big-block V8 delivers a thunderous growl that defines raw performance and style. To capture this sound in full detail, we mounted microphones in the engine bay, around the exhaust, and inside the intake to record every rumble, roar, and high-rev scream with precision. In addition, we set up external trackside microphones to capture the Stingray in motion, firing up, revving hard, and thundering past at speed. As a result, these recordings give you the complete experience of a classic Corvette, preserving the power and presence that made the Stingray a legend.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
