The Lotus Exige S is a tiny vehicle with, in contrast to it’s size, a huge amount of character. To try and encapsulate the bravado and bite this car has in an audio form, we carefully positioned high-quality microphones around the engine bay, air intakes, interior and exhaust, as well as capturing external perspectives with trackside microphones to perfectly reproduce the whining supercharged inline-4 engine zooming by the listener in delicate detail.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
