Description
The 1971 Nissan Skyline Hakosuka is an icon of early Japanese performance and racing heritage. Its naturally aspirated inline-six produces a raw, mechanical sound defined by sharp induction, raspy exhaust tones and classic high-RPM character. To capture the authentic sound, we placed high-quality microphones in the engine bay, at the intake, and near the exhaust to record every rev, bark and throttle response. External trackside microphones were also used to capture start-ups, revs, and pass-bys as the Skyline accelerates past at speed. These recordings provide an accurate and high-quality classic Nissan Skyline sound for tv, film, and games.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
