The Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 is a focused mid-engined sports car powered by a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six. With its sharp throttle response and distinctive boxer engine character the GT4 delivers an unmistakable sound that perfectly matches its track-focused nature.
To capture its full character, microphones were positioned around the engine, intake, and exhaust system to record everything from start-ups and crisp revs to full-throttle acceleration. Additional external microphones captured the GT4 at speed, including launches, passbys and more. The result is an authentic Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 sound library for film, games and professional sound design.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
