Hailing all the way from Italy, this special Porsche 911 997 spends its days battling on track in GT3 races across Europe. Sporting a naturally aspirated 3.6 litre flat-6 engine, custom race exhaust and a sequential gearbox with straight cut gears, this car produces an authentic racecar audio experience. To capture the car’s racing soul we used high-quality microphones placed throughout; mounted in the engine bay, near the exhausts and inside the intake to record every rev, turbo flutter, backfire and redline with clarity. In addition, we positioned external trackside microphones to capture the Porsche as it starts, revs, and screams past.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications. Surround sound files are not available in the Short & Sweet library.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
