Born out of McLaren’s iconic Surrey headquarters, the McLaren 720S is highly regarded as one of the best supercars of it’s era. Fitted with a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 pushing a maximum of 710 horsepower, the 720S is a finely tuned performance machine. We’ve captured this incredible vehicle with an array of microphones carefully positioned around the engine bay, air intakes, interior and exhaust, as well as capturing external perspectives with trackside microphones to reproduce every ripping passby in delicate detail.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
