We proudly present the McLaren Senna Sound Library, a collection of sound effects packed full of all the roars, whirrs, howls and whistles that you would expect from a hypercar of this calibre. With the most powerful internal combustion engine McLaren has ever built, the sounds it produces will electrify your projects. The 4.0 Litre V8 Twin Turbo McLaren Senna was recorded with eighteen high-quality microphones positioned in and around the car. This included mics fastened inside the engine bay, above the exhausts and positioned inside air intakes. Everything was captured – from the smallest pops and hisses to the loudest whirrs and howls. Trackside material was captured from four rigs positioned along the racetrack.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
Delivered uncompressed in 96kHz and 24-bit, the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.

To help you quickly find the sounds you are looking for, we have included extensive metadata in every file. Our file naming and metadata is created according to current UCS standards and can be read by audio management tools such as Soundminer & Basehead.
