Mitsubishi is known for making kings of the rally stage, and the Lancer Ralliart is no stranger to tight bends, near misses or driving sideways in rural areas. We had the opportunity to record one of these monsters, carefully positioning an array of microphones around the engine bay, exhaust and interior to ensure every rev, redline, pop and bang from the anti-lag and turbo blowoff was captured in high fidelity. To complement, we also captured raw trackside audio at four different intervals along the track, allowing the reproduction of every ripping passby to be perfect for any project.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
