The Renault Megane RS 265 Cup is a track-focused hot hatch that combines turbocharged performance with sharp handling and unmistakable character. Powered by a 2L turbocharged engine, it delivers a distinctive blend of aggressive induction, turbo spool and a sporty exhaust sound that has made the 265 Cup a favourite among hot hatch enthusiasts.
To capture its authentic character, high-quality microphones were placed throughout the vehicle, including the engine bay, intake and exhaust system, to record every start-up, rev and acceleration in detail. External microphones were also used to capture passbys and runs as the Megane RS charges past at speed. These recordings deliver an authentic, high-quality Renault Megane RS 265 Cup sound experience for film, games and professional sound design.
We recorded ambisonic surround files from the interior perspective, perfect for surround and VR applications.
Every recorder is timecode-synced for simple DAW session reconstruction, making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre. We have included ready-made Reaper and Pro Tools sessions with the standard pack.
